Jacob is a boring farmer, with grey hair living on the outskirts of Respites Calm.

He helps out at the farm, and knows enough about plants, animals, birds and history to bore Logan to tears.

He mostly wields a hoe, but there is a very battered old rusty trident above his fireplace...

When Jacob realises Logan has run away after parents...he grumbles, and grabs his trident...

Logan took the only boat, would seem Jacob doesn't need one anyway...
