The Merizuki Massacre

The Merizuki Massacre shook the world as it exposed a network of child abduction, abuse, and Leash distribution.

Camera footage from the Merizuki nightclub showed Kristine Valence (AKA K) making cocktails, cartwheeling across the floor, juggling with knives, laughing, taking drugs, and killing gang members whilst surrounded by a bloodbath. The death count included 23 children, several gang members, nightclub staff, and Emily Valence (K's identical twin sister).

Kristine Valence was the only living survivor in the massacre and is currently serving time in the most secure wing of the most secure prison on the planet, Nemesi IV. K is also the most hated woman on the planet after the massacre and has the highest bounty ever known on her head. K is in near-permanent solitary confinement (more for the protection of the other inmates than herself). On her first day in prison, thirty inmates attacked K in the canteen. Despite taking a severe beating and several cuts, and being put in the infirmary for a fortnight - she likewise put over half the inmates in the infirmary. The rest ran away. There have been nineteen incidents, four assassination attempts, and two guards were also put in the infirmary after they attempted to rape K.

After The Merizuki Massacre, K has a 4,500,000 bounty on her head. Most people would kill her for free, including her ex-lover, Twist, Breach, and Emily Valence's fiancé, DJ Manifold.
